Natural color and superior contrast in bright and backlit environments are enhanced through the use of a Super EBC coating, which also controls ghosting and flare. With one aspherical ED element, sharp, pleasing results are attained throughout the aperture range, by controlling distortion and color fringing. Vignetting, nothing more than minor corner shading at the wider apertures, is very well controlled and distortion is almost nonexistent.
